During our quarterly conferences, members of the website have the opportunity to sign up for live teleseminars, keynote addresses, as well as Q&A sessions with practice and career development experts. It is a period of "heightened activity" which provides live content for the week, and also after the conference through our audio archives.

Right where you're sitting! All of the teleseminars, keynote addresses, and Q&A sessions are done through the phone, supplemented with downloaded materials.

Why a virtual conference?

We previously organized live conferences for our partners for several years. However, there were several challenges "live" career & practice development programs posed that we have now overcome: Staff & Speaker Resources Due to the limited amount of time and staff required to deliver an effective and valuable program for those attending, we were only able to deliver a few programs per year, requiring us to focus on only a few major metro areas. Now with one virtual venue, we can offer the best in resources and information year-round, and deliver powerful quarterly programs to all our partners. Confidentiality Due to the "live" environment, the majority of the "working" legal professionals were too concerned about being seen at the "career" event and jeopardizing their jobs. Now we can offer all our services with perfect confidentially, making them available to a wider audience. Affordability Due to the high fees charged by leading speakers and industry experts, we were limited to covering only a few topics at these events. Now we can offer tele-seminars and panels of the leading legal industry experts, with more flexibility to cover a wide range of topics. Scheduling Due to the busy and conflicting schedules of legal professionals and jobseekers alike, finding the perfect date and/or time for the event often proved impossible. Now we can offer a database of legal resource articles, webinars, and audio recordings year-round, and our quarterly programs can be scheduled to fit your timetable.

What is a teleseminar / webinar?	top
A teleseminar is essentially a conference call, supplemented with materials participants download beforehand. A webinar operates on the same principle, except that listeners follow an online presentation.

How do teleseminars work?

A few days before the teleseminar / webinar is scheduled, registrants are emailed the phone number to dial, as well as a passcode. On the day of the event, they dial in. When prompted, they enter the passcode, and are placed in conference call.  Registrants also receive a link to the materials, which they download beforehand. When the speaker joins the call, the presentation begins. Typically the speaker will give a presentation interspersed with short Q&A sessions throughout. The listeners follow along in their materials, or in the case of the webinar, follow on-screen.
