Jeannie S. Johnston is originally from Warner Robins, Georgia. She attended Athens Technical College (ABA Approved) in Athens, Georgia where she obtained her Associate of Science degree in Paralegal Studies. She has worked as a Paralegal for over 15 years, has written articles for Legal Assistant Today and has spoken at Paralegal conferences nationwide.

Additionally, Jeannie is the Founder of ParalegalGateway.com, the largest Paralegal information portal on the World Wide Web. Recently, Jeannie expanded her vision by joining her new business partner, Lyza Sandgren, in a new venture, CanopyLegal Corp. CanopyLegal Corp. now represents the best of practice support products and services and product training for legal professionals on the market today including WebTMS, a web-based patent and trademark docketing system.

Anita G. Haworth, RP has over 22 years experience in the legal field.  A paralegal since April 1989, she is a senior litigation paralegal at Campbell Kyle Proffitt LLP in Carmel, Indiana. Anita has a B.S. Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in psychology and a paralegal certificate from Indiana University Kokomo.  She became a PACE Registered Paralegal in September of 1999. 

Anita is currently serving as the President of National Federation of Paralegal Associations, Inc. (NFPA) for the 2006-2008 term.  She previously served as NFPA Treasurer & Director of Finance, Region III Director, and held various coordinator positions including Roles & Responsibilities; Ethics & Professional Responsibility; Assistant PACE Coordinator-Public Relations. 

Anita has also been a member of the PACE Development Committee since February of 2001.  A member of Indiana Paralegal Association, Anita received Paralegal of the Year and Outstanding Board Member awards from Indiana Paralegal Association in 2000.  She was a member of IPA’s Board of Directors for several years as its Primary Representative to NFPA and was instrumental in the drafting and implementation of several policy resolutions adopted by NFPA.  She is also an affiliate member of the Indiana State Bar Association, and sits on the Paralegal Advisory Board at Indiana Vocational Technical College in Indianapolis. 

Anita was just recently appointed to the Thomas Edison State College Paralegal Advisory Board in Trenton, NJ.  She is an experienced speaker and presenter on paralegal topics, including PACE, ethics, management, and leadership skills.

Denise Squillante, Esq., has been a solo practitioner of family law in Fall River since 1983. Ms. Squillante is Vice President of the Massachusetts Bar Association. She has also served as the chair and the chair of legislation for the MBA’s Family Law Section Council. Ms. Squillante is a member of the MBA House of Delegates and served on various MBA Committees, including the Child Support Guidelines Committee. She is also a member of the Bristol County Bar Association and its Executive Committee. Ms. Squillante is a featured speaker for various continuing legal education programs. She received her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from New England School of Law.
